Q. What does my Service & MOT Plan actually cover 

A. One annual MOT and service inline with the manufacturers recommendation.  

Q. Where can I take my vehicle for its MOT/Service?

A. You can take your vehicle to any or our approved Service providers for its MOT and Service. Just ask your local Franchise who provides their servicing and MOT’s.

Q. How do I book my Service and or MOT

A. Your Local Franchise operator will contact you in good time before your service and MOT are due to book you in…. Its all part of the Easy Peasy service. 

Q. What happens if I do more than 10,000 miles per year

A. The additional cost of servicing is taken from the excess mileage charge within your Lemon Squeezy subscription agreement.  

Q. Is my Plan refundable if my agreement ends before the car is serviced or MOT’s

No, your monthly plan runs alongside your membership agreement and is charged for every month you are responsible for the car, It can be reduced or a holiday taken if the car is off the road for long term damage or mechanical repair. (more than 1 month) 

Q. Can I, or my friendly mechanic carry out the service and arrange the MOT on the vehicle while I am responsible for it?

A. No, this is not possible as we have to know the vehicle has been inspected, serviced and MOT’s to our standard. 

Q. How do I pay for the Plan, and what happens if I miss a payment?

A. You pay for the plan by Direct Debit, several attempts will be made to collect payment, if payment fails, you re still liable for the cost of the service plan for each of the months you are responsible for the car.  The Service Plan is a requirement of your membership if you are subscribing to a car, and none payment could lead to the termination of your car subscription. 

If your bank details change please notify your franchise operator. 

Q. What happens if I change the Lemon Squeezy car I’m driving?

A. Nothing happens you simply keep paying into your plan and it covers whatever car you are driving 

Q. Who are FA50P (UK) Ltd

FA50P (UK) Ltd are the administrators of the Service Plan and are responsible for collecting your Direct Debit payments and actioning basic administration. It is for this reason that you will see ‘EMaC Ltd’ on your bank statement and in any correspondence relating to the Car Care Service & MOT Plan.

Car Care Plan Terms and Conditions

 “Administrator” means FA50P (UK) Limited a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 07448402 whose registered office is at 2-4 Bay House, 13 Undercliff Road Boscombe, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH5 with a contact telephone number of 01202 874204 and email address of enquiries@vsclub.co.uk which is a company contracted with the Lemon Squeezy Car Club to collect payments the Direct Debit from you that are outside of your membership of the car club. These include the Care Care Service Plan & Any Road Fund Licence Contributions. They administer these funds on your behalf to settle the cost associated with these taxes and services.
 

“Authorised Repairer” means a motor vehicle repairer acting on behalf of FA50P and the Plan Holder. The Authorised Repairer is instructed to carry out the annual service and arrange the MOT by FA50P (UK) Ltd which is paid for by the Service Plan. Any additional work undertaken outside of the normal service and MOT is provided under the instruction of the Plan Holder and must be done so by agreement between the Authorised Repairer and the Plan Holder before work commences at the Plan Holders cost, which must be paid for in addition to the Service Plan and before the car is released to the Plan Holder.   

“Plan Holder” means you the customer and member of the Lemon Squeezy Car Club 

“Late Payment Fee” means the sum paid by you to FA50P (UK) Ltd in respect of the admin cost associated with late or cancelled payment.  The Cancellation Fee is subject to VAT at the standard rate in effect at the date of cancellation. The Cancellation Fee is £25.00 excluding VAT.

“Contract” means this contract between you and FA50P (UK) Ltd whereby FA50P (UK) Ltd agrees to provide the Services subject to these Terms and Conditions.

“Customer” “Plan Holder” or “you” means the person named in this Contract between FA50P (UK) Ltd has agreed to perform the Services.

 “Direct Debit Payments” means the monies payable by you on a monthly basis towards the Total Payment, in accordance with the Direct Debit Payment Scheme.

“Direct Debit Payment Scheme” means the facility offered to you to pay towards the Total Payment due by way of monthly Direct Debit payments payable on the day of each month specified on the front page of this Contract.

“FA50P (UK) Ltd” means FA50P (UK) Limited a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 07448402 whose registered office is at 2-4 Bay House, 13 Undercliff Road Boscombe, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH5 with a contact telephone number of 01202 874204 and email address of enquiries@vsclub.co.uk

 “Service Cost” means the cost of parts and labour incurred by FA50P (UK) Ltd in the provision of the Services.

“Service(s)” means the routine maintenance services and MOTs relevant to the Vehicle at the appropriate service intervals as specified in the Service Specification.

“Service Specification” means FA50P (UK) Ltd recommended service intervals and operations for the Vehicle at the date of this Contract. For the Avoidance of doubt, FA50P (UK) Ltd retains the right to specify the applicable service intervals and operations. This plan includes each service in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations and one annual MOT.

“Total Payment” means the total sum payable by the Customer pursuant to this Contract as specified overleaf, as varied by changes to VAT (if any).

“Vehicle” means the motor vehicle described in the Lemon Squeezy Car Club Agreement.

  1. In consideration of the Total Payment made by the Customer to FA50P (UK) Ltd, FA50P (UK) Ltd agrees to provide the Services up to the value of the Service Cost. The Service(s) may only be carried out by an Authorised Repairer.
  2. The Customer agrees to make all Direct Debit payments as they fall due for payment on the dates specified on the front page of this Contract.
  3. FA50P (UK) Ltd’ liability pursuant to this Contract in respect of the Service is limited to providing the Servicing Specification (that is vehicle servicing and MOTs) for the relevant Vehicle at the relevant service interval. 
  4. Any additional work carried out and/or materials supplied by The Authorised Repairer or FA50P (UK) Ltd not included in the relevant Service Specification will be the responsibility of the Customer and will be payable on collection of the Vehicle.
  5. Failure by the Customer to make payments due pursuant to the Direct Debit Payment Scheme shall entitle FA50P (UK) Ltd to terminate this Contract and FA50P (UK) Ltd’ obligations under the Contract shall cease immediately. In the event that the Service Cost benefit received by the Customer prior to such termination exceeds the payments made by the Customer, the Customer shall remain liable for the outstanding amount and shall make immediate payment to FA50P (UK) Ltd of any balance due and FA50P (UK) Ltd shall be entitled to charge interest at a rate of 4% above the base rate of National Westminster Bank plc. until full reimbursement is made.
  6. FA50P (UK) Ltd’ obligations under the Contract will cease once all the Services have been provided pursuant to the Service Specification or the Customer or FA50P (UK) Ltd.
  7. If the Customer wishes to terminate this Contract prior to all Services having been provided, written confirmation is required from the Customer and an authorised representative of the Lemon Squeezy Car Club. Stating the vehicle registration and Customer name and address. The Customer shall remain liable for the outstanding amount and shall make immediate payment to the Administrator of an amount to return the Balance to zero, and FA50P (UK) Ltd shall be entitled to charge interest at a rate of 4% above the base rate of National Westminster Bank plc. until full reimbursement is made.
  8. The Customer and FA50P (UK) Ltd acknowledge that the Administrator is entitled to collect all or part of the Total Payment and acts as an agent for FA50P (UK) Ltd in relation to the collection of any payments pursuant to the Direct Debit Payment Scheme and any Management Fee(s). Furthermore, the Customer and FA50P (UK) Ltd acknowledge that financial responsibility for Deposit Payment(s) and sums payable through the Direct Debit Payment Scheme towards the Total Payment lies with FA50P (UK) Ltd or the FA50P (UK) Ltd Group and not with the Administrator
  9. FA50P (UK) Ltd’ Standard Terms and Conditions (a copy of which is available on request) shall apply to all vehicle servicing and MOT work carried out by FA50P (UK) Ltd pursuant to this Contract.
  10. Any Direct Debit Payments due pursuant to the Direct Debit Payment Scheme have been calculated using the current rates of VAT. If the rate of VAT should change, the Administrator will adjust the Total Payment and payments due pursuant to the Direct Debit Payment Scheme and/or any Accelerated Payment to reflect the new rate of VAT, and the Customer agrees to pay the adjusted payments.
  11. The Customer is reminded that if the Vehicle is still covered by the contractual warranty that came into force on the first registration then the continuing validity of such warranty may be affected if the Vehicle is not serviced at the time and mileage intervals appropriate to it. The Customer is strongly advised to refer to the service handbook of the Vehicle for further information and is advised that in the event of any inconsistency between this Contract and the service handbook as to when Services are due, then the service handbook must be assumed to be accurate. If a Service is due in respect of the Vehicle then it is the responsibility of the Customer to arrange for that Service to be carried out regardless of whether the payments made to date under the Contract are sufficient to pay for the cost of the Service.
  12. All non-service related items may be subject to change at FA50P (UK) Ltd’ discretion.
  13. This Contract shall terminate upon the end date or early cancellation date of the Lemon Squeezy Subscription agreement.
